A VSAT IDU Communications Access Program for hardware development, field service, and manufacturing for Windows 98/NT (SDK32).
Windows 95 diagnostic app for videoconferencing and communications board user test and manufacturing. Win3.1 to Windows NT, Win3.1 to Win95 ports of a videoconferencing setup and diagnostic app. Designed and implemented "small" languages and platforms for the test of communications modules and products with multiple cooperating processors. Implemented DOS test stations for modem communication products. Diagnostics for DSPs, video ASICs, various communications products.
Training and course development.
Delivery and development of various computer language, operating system, and computer networks courses, most recently in COM/COM+. Also, VC++ MFC, C++, DCE (OSF Distributed Computing Environment), OSF/1, and Client/Server technology.

Including "asset management" decision support software for the banking industry, real estate management software for the banking industry, and management of patient records for the health care industry.

VideoConferencing Application Development
Windows 98/NT (Win32 SDK/DDK development) diagnostic, manufacturing, and user setup/test apps for PC videoconferencing products were developed. T.12x type H.DLL (H.224) data service was added to a Windows videoconferencing product.
Development (including software design, implementation, coordination, and test) of embedded communications. ISDN/BRI was added as a communications option to the PictureTel S4000 Video Conferencing System. Other options (X.21 and V.35 Switched 56) were also enhanced. Improvements to the user interface and internal process operation were accomplished. Improvements were accomplished to the M8000 videoconferencing bridge.

Aided Dave Platt with "Understanding COM+", Chapter 6, on COM+ database features.
Harvard University TA for:
Client/Server Computing: Strategies and Solutions course development and delivery for Digital's seminars group. Client/Server technology such as Remote Procedure Calls, Pipelines, Mailboxes, SQL, and Object Request Brokers were compared. Client/ server messaging techniques such as XTI and TLI, BSD sockets, streams, and IPC were also compared.
Also, instructed C++, OSF/1 Unix, and communications courses.
